Supportive services include a Parent Who Care support group, training for parents and child-serving professionals, and home visits. The program’s advocacy component includes advocating on behalf of the child with schools, committees on special education, the juvenile justice and family court systems, and other provider agencies. An MHA advocate may frequently accompany parents/care givers to meeting, hearings, etc.
Eligibility and Referrals:
Cattaraugus County residents having a child with social, emotional or behavioral problems are eligible to receive services. Parents may refer themselves or be referred by another child-serving agency.
